Claire
M. Wing
is a professional
liturgical artist
and designer working nationally in
leaded glass and sand-carved
glass relief sculpture,
as well as the design of devotional spaces, liturgical items, and ritual furnishings. Her work is
dedicated to quality on every level, from initial client contact through final
installation. She uses the finest quality glass and
materials, substantial and durable fabrication techniques, with problem-free
installations.
Ms. Wing received her B/FA in Fine Arts from St. Mary's College, doing course work through the University of Notre
Dame in the U.S. and France. Her graduate work was at L'Ecole
Nationale Superieure des Beaux Art in Paris,
France. She also attended the Institute for Liturgical Consultants at the
Catholic Theological
Union in Chicago.
She has been a presenter at the
Form/Reform Conference
on Environment and Art for Catholic Worship and the University of Dallas
Ministry Conference. |

Artist's
Statement
In
the Roman Catholic liturgy
there is a captivating
prayer which concludes,
"...their unending hymn of praise. "
This is, for me, the fundamental
premise for creating works
of sacred art,
and the reason I do this work.
